About The Event

In 2008, An Evening Out Silent/Live Auction was launched to raise funds for Bennett-Hemenway's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Last year's auction was very successful and raised more than $15,000. Some of the proceeds were used to replace a decrepit piano for the music department. The remainder of the proceeds also helped support the PTO in funding field trip transportation, cultural arts activities, technological upgrades and many other enhancements to Ben-Hem's curriculum.

General An Evening Out Silent/Live Auction Terms

• All items are donated to An Evening Out Silent/Live Auction, an auction/fundraiser to benefit Bennett-Hemenway's PTO.
• An Evening Out committee has accurately described and cataloged every donated item.
• All proceeds benefit Bennett-Hemenway PTO.

Auction Terms

• Bidding will begin at 7pm, Saturday, March 28, 2009
• Each item and value will be listed on an individual bid sheet. To be a valid bid, the increase over the previous bid must satisfy the bid increment stated on the sheet. Please write legibly on the bid sheet and place each new bid on the next available line.
• Bidding will close throughout the evening. We will make an announcement, letting you know that bidding on specific tables will be closing within 5 or 10 minutes.
• Items will be awarded to the highest bidder.
• High bidders who are not present at the close of the auction will be notified.
• Payment must be made prior to receipt of auction items and can be made by check or cash. Credit card payment will not be accepted.
• All sales are final and there are no exchanges on items.
• Auction prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Raffle Terms

• All raffle tickets sold will be entered into the raffle.
• Winners will be contacted and do not need to be present to win.
• Raffle prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
